ChinaFirst Korean company to develop blocks in South China Sea

We are continuing our efforts to secure crude oil in China and Southeast Asia. In February 2015, we are awarded with the block in the South China Sea, which is considered to contain a large amount of crude oil, and have been jointly conducting exploration activities with CNOOC.

After being awarded Block 15-1 in 1998, and taking another 5 years of exploration and development, we have been producing crude oil since 2003. In September 2003, ‘Su Tu Nau’ field was also successfully developed.
